AlarmBee was designed for families, but the same logic — one shared code, one button, many recipients — fits any group that travels together.

Where it helps

• School trips, especially abroad, where a child may have no roaming data but will find Wi-Fi.
• Sports clubs travelling to fixtures.
• Camps and group excursions.
• Parent associations that want one shared solution for every family in a class.

Two ways to set it up

One group for the whole trip. The group leader is the recipient and every child joins with the same code. Simple to set up, ideal for a specific activity.

Each family separately, with the leader as an extra recipient. The better approach: parents are alerted too, and after the trip the family keeps using it normally.

What has to be agreed beforehand

This is the part that usually gets skipped and later causes problems.

• Written notice to parents about what is sent when the button is pressed: location, two photos, battery, network.
• Who receives the alarm and who is responsible for responding first.
• When the group is switched off, if it is only for one activity.
• What we tell the children — when to press it, and that nobody will be angry if it is pressed for nothing.

For the data protection officer

No child accounts are created and no names are stored. A child joins with a code. Location is sent only at the moment of the alarm — there is no continuous tracking and no route history. Photos are never written to disk. See the privacy policy and the company details.

Pricing

For schools, clubs and camps billing is done as a group, with an invoice and help with setup. Tell us how many families are involved and we will send a quote. Individual families are covered by the standard pricing.
